We recommend starting your puppy’s grooming journey at 16 weeks of age and/or once they are fully vaccinated.

Our Puppy Groom Service is your pets first groom and includes a Bath, Blow-dry, Brush, Nail Trim and a tidy around the face, feet and intricate areas.

We always do our best to provide clients with affordable dog grooming. The cost of your salon appointment depends on a few things:

  • The size of your dog
  • The condition of their coat
  • The type of groom that you would like

If you require any additional services for your dog wash or groom, please contact our friendly salon team who would be more than happy to help you out.

For the comfort and safety of your dog, we recommend they be professionally groomed:

Long and very fluffyEvery 4 weeks
Medium and fluffyEvery 6 weeks
Short but not shavedEvery 7-9 weeks
ShavedNo longer than every 10 weeks

If your dog’s coat is too matted, they will need to be shaved.

Too long an interval between grooming increases the probability of matting which adds the risk of injury and discomfort to your dog.

It is recommended that your dog be fully C5 vaccinated to protect itself and other dogs from exposure to diseases,  however it is not compulsory to access our grooming services.  We completely understand that desensitising dogs from a young age is extremely important, and this often includes exposing dogs to the grooming process before they are completely vaccinated

Dogs come in different breeds, shapes and sizes. Our professional dog clipping team in Melbourne are experienced in most breed cuts. Whilst we offer specialized styles for most, the main dog breeds we provide clipping services for are:

We do not offer online bookings for dog grooming. We have found through experience that it’s best to chat with you about your fur baby and their requirements at the time of making the booking. This allows us to allocate an appropriate amount of time for your dog grooming appointment.

Absolutely! We provide on-site parking so there is no need to cross any busy roads to get to us.

Provided your puppy has had their minimum vaccinations, and is older than 12 weeks, they can be professionally groomed.

We understand it can be a little scary for your puppy’s first groom, but our team are very experienced in ensuring their first groom remains a pleasant and enjoyable moment.

If your dog is found to have fleas, we will automatically treat with a flea rinse. After doing so, we have to disinfect and clean all areas to make sure no fleas have survived. This will incur an added cost due to the flea rinse and the additional time needed to treat.

We always do our best to create a calm and stress-free environment for your dog’s grooming. Our aim is to ensure they enjoy their salon experience and want to keep coming back for more. Please speak to our staff and let us know of any concerns you have about your dog’s nervousness, so we can ensure the best possible experience.

However, if your dog has a tendency to be a bit aggressive, we may require extra staff to assist, or muzzling (as an extreme measure). If this occurs, then we do need to charge an additional fee, and will let you know at the time of the appointment. This is because it takes more time to complete your dog’s grooming treatment.

We reserve the right to refuse any dog that presents a risk or injury to itself or a member of our staff.

That being said, we do offer a range of walk in dog grooming services, which include:

Unfortunately, we don’t provide mobile dog grooming. Our facility is fitted with premium harnesses and specialized grooming equipment to ensure your dog receives consistent quality of services for every treatment with us.

Although we don’t provide mobile dog grooming, we do have clients travelling from all over Melbourne to see us, as far away as Beechworth and Kinglake!
